Special-purpose safety boots for the metal-working industry in accordance with EN ISO 20349

The standard EN ISO 20349 imposes extended requirements for the protective features of foundry and welding boots. The boots must withstand various test procedures in connection with exposure to extreme heat and contact with molten metal. This particularly applies to the quality of the upper material, as well as for the heat resistance of the compound sole. In a comprehensive pouring test with TÜV Rheinland, ATLAS® successfully met all requirements of EN ISO 20349 for foundry and welding boots.
