ATLAS donates €3,000 to the help and hope foundation
ATLAS impressively demonstrated how easy it is to get social engagement moving with a step challenge at a trade fair. More than 1,000 participants collected steps – and with them donations. At the end, ATLAS rounded up the campaign to a donation of €3,000 for the help and hope foundation.
Contributing to the future of young people with every step: at the beginning of November, ATLAS invited visitors to its stand at the A+A trade fair to take part in an interactive challenge on a step pad. ATLAS donated one euro to the help and hope foundation for each person who took part. A total of 1,015 trade fair visitors took up the sporting challenge. ATLAS, a gold sponsor of the help and hope foundation, subsequently increased the amount to 3,000 euros – a strong sign of social commitment and perseverance.
‘As a manufacturer of safety shoes, we deal with the topics of walking, standing and working on a daily basis,’ says Maximilian Finke, Head of Marketing at ATLAS GmbH & Co. KG. ‘It was great to see how many people were willing to take a few extra steps for a good cause.’
Sandra Heller, Chairwoman of the Board of the help and hope Foundation, was on site and was able to present the foundation's work in a short interview at the ATLAS exhibition stand. ‘I would like to express my heartfelt thanks to ATLAS for this creative and committed fundraising campaign,’ said Sandra Heller. ‘Here, help was provided step by step in the truest sense of the word – and at the same time, attention was drawn to our foundation's work. Such campaigns carry our message far beyond a trade fair stand.’
Working together for the future of our region
We are proud to support the help and hope foundation with a generous donation for the construction of its new children's and youth guest house at Gut Königsmühle - and thus to be a sponsor of this important initiative.
The project creates space for community, personal development and social learning - regardless of origin or life situation. As a Dortmund-based family business , it is precisely this kind of local commitment that we would like to support.
"The foundation's new building is a convincing overall concept. The project is unique in the region - it deserves our recognition and support," says our CEO Hendrik Schabsky.
A big thank you to the team at the help and hope foundation for their tireless commitment to children and young people - we are delighted to be part of this development!
