In 22 years, Ukraine-Hilfe Breitscheid has achieved great things - 57 aid transports and numerous people who have supported them. Winter is just around the corner and help is more urgent than ever. We at ATLAS® are supporting the aid organisation and the people in need in the crisis areas of Ukraine with a donation of 5,700 pairs of safety shoes.
The safety shoes collected today will first be taken to a central warehouse in Poland and then transported to various destinations in Ukraine.
In a joint discussion between CEO Hendrik Schabsky and Chairman Heinrich Benner, it once again became clear how important short-term and unbureaucratic help is. 'We have to be aware of the suffering of the many victims of war every day and support them to the best of our ability,' said Hendrik Schabsky.
Our full appreciation and respect also goes to all the helpers who are carrying out these aid transports, sometimes at the risk of their own lives.
