ATLAS donates 50,000 euros to the help and hope foundation

A strong signal for the region: The Dortmund safety shoe manufacturer ATLAS is supporting the construction of the new children's and youth guest house of the help and hope foundation with a donation of 50,000 euros.

The new guest house is being built on the grounds of Gut Königsmühle and will provide space for up to 100 children and young people to stay for several days while taking advantage of the help and hope foundation's educational programmes. With the new building, the foundation aims to provide young people with a space for community experiences, personal development and social learning - regardless of their background or life situation.

 

‘As a family business from Dortmund, we support local projects that give something back to the region and the people here,’ says Hendrik Schabsky, CEO of ATLAS GmbH & Co. KG. "The help and hope foundation's new building is an impressive overall concept. The project is unique in the region and is the result of a great team effort by the various stakeholders. The help and hope foundation relies on the support of many partners to realise the ambitious building project. The fact that a company rooted in Dortmund such as ATLAS is involved in this way is of particular importance to the foundation. As a sign of recognition, the foundation has awarded the company the status of Gold Sponsor.

Our vision is to have a positive influence on the lives of young people. Regardless of their life situation, we support children, teenagers and young adults in their personal development.
