As a company with deep roots in Dortmund, ATLAS is committed to supporting specific local projects. Together with the Dortmunder Tafel, it once again supported the ‘Tafel für Kinder’ programme, which enabled 30 children to take part in a six-day training camp at the BVB Football Academy.
“Experiences like this are something very special for children. They not only encourage a love of physical activity, but also boost self-confidence and a sense of community. We are delighted that, together with ATLAS and the BVB Football Academy, we have once again been able to give so many children this valuable experience,” says Regina Grabe, Deputy Chair of Dortmunder Tafel e. V..
The course focused on technical, coordination and team exercises. Above all, however, the training camp provided an opportunity for physical activity, shared experiences and the joy of being together. At the end, all participating children received a training kit.
“As a Dortmund-based company, it is important to us to take on local responsibility and support children in our region. We are delighted that, together with the Dortmunder Tafel and the BVB Football Academy, we were once again able to make such an experience possible,” explains Tobias Jancke, Marketing Manager at ATLAS.
