RTL charity telethon 2023
As a fifth-generation family business, we are deeply rooted in our hometown of Dortmund. We take our responsibility as an important employer and economic driver in the region seriously by giving something back.
We continued to do so in 2023 with donations in kind and financial donations to local organisations such as Dortmunder Tafel e.V., Kinderlachen e.V., Dortmund Zoo and local workshops. At national level, we made financial contributions to Ukraine Aid and supported the RTL Donation Marathon 2023. Here, ATLAS brand ambassador Joey Kelly and his team covered 4,454 kilometres in the ‘24-hour American Football Challenge’, not only setting a world record for the ‘longest relay distance in a football course (24 hours, team)’, but also raised
€ 1,033,851
in donations.
UKRAINE
We at ATLAS are supporting an aid organisation and people in need in the crisis areas of Ukraine with a donation of 5,700 pairs of safety shoes.
SUPPORT IN EMERGENCY SITUATIONS
In September 2023, devastating storms and floods swept across the state of Rio Grande do Sul, disrupting the lives of many colleagues. From new purchases such as household appliances to financial assistance and smaller donations in kind, we supported those employees whose flats and houses fell victim to the floods.
