MOBILITY

Our location in Dortmund is the hub of our company in Europe. More than 200 employees work at our campus in Dortmund every day. Mobility is an important issue that has a significant impact on our ecological footprint, which is why we are switching to sustainable solutions in the short and medium term.

One of our goals is to completely convert our vehicle fleet from petrol and diesel-powered cars to electric and hybrid cars. Last year, we added four fully electric and 14 hybrid cars to our fleet. We also installed four wallboxes for charging the vehicles, which are connected to our photovoltaic system. The fleet concept is being systematically developed and implemented in new contracts.

We want to raise awareness of how we use our resources, which is why we attach particular importance to incentivising our employees to reduce their carbon footprint. To accompany our fleet transformation, we are motivating our employees to switch to public transport where possible. To this end, we subsidise half of the Germany Ticket. We not only support a more sustainable way of travelling to work, but also during leisure time, when the ticket can also be used. Since the offer was introduced last year, 26 employees have already taken advantage of it.
